Installing MUSEpack

To install MUSEpack download the latest repository from https://github.com/pzeidler89/MUSEpack
MUSEpack is a Python3 only package and will not be supported for any version less than 3.6.

Additional python packages
--------------------------

To fully run all modules the following **non-standard** modules need to be installed:

* `pyspeckit`_
* `ppxf`_
* `synphot`_
* `stsynphot`_
* `mosaic_wrapper`_

Additional 3rd party software

To properly run :class:`MUSEreduce.musereduce` the ESO's MUSE data reduction pipeline v2.8.9 has to be installed. The latest version including the manual and further instructions can be found under: https://www.eso.org/sci/software/pipelines/muse/.
